Hardwood Rustic Fireplace Mantel

Add rustic texture to your fireplace with a handmade knotty alder floating mantel from Model Line Design. Distressed saw patterns inspired by historic lumber give the wood its character, while hollow box construction creates the appearance of a substantial beam with less weight. Made by hand in our Utah workshop.

Rustic mantel details

  • Wood: knotty alder with visible knots and rustic texture.
  • Construction: hollow wood box mantel with a beam-like appearance.
  • Finish: walnut matte, with custom finishes available by request. Walnut describes the finish; the wood is knotty alder.
  • Mounting: French cleats included.
  • Grain, knots, saw marks and finish vary naturally; each handmade piece is unique.
